Ingredients
- **Blender
- **1/2C unsweetened vanilla almond milk (another great option is to replace this with 1/4 package of jell-o instant sugar free, fat free white chocolate pudding, in fact, try any pudding flavor you like, you'll feel like you're eating a dessert!)
- **1/2C brewed coffee, cooled slightly so it's not steaming hot
- **1 scoop vanilla protein powder/ or chocolate
- **about 6 ice cubes
- **optional - 1 packet stevia or other all natural, no calorie sweetener
Instructions
- add ice cubes to blender
- add coffee & milk
- pour protein powder & optional stevia on top
- blend until smooth
-pour into pretty glass & enjoy!! :))
the consistency will come out somewhat thick. it is very yummy!! and much cheaper than going to starbucks or getting an iced coffee from mcdonalds.. in fact you probably have all the ingredients on hand already! (plus much much healthier.. and you know exactly what's in it!)
there are lots of ways you could play around with this recipe... you could also change the ratio of milk to coffee.. if you like coffee drinks stronger, then add more coffee & less milk. this was the perfect mix for me because i like the coffee flavor but not too strong! this ratio tasted to me like the flavor of a vanilla iced coffee from mcdonalds.
YIELD: makes 1 serving - add coffee & milk
